I spent four years as editor of the leading travel trade newspaper, Travel Weekly, and have also worked as a news editor, reporter and columnist in a career spanning over 20 years.

I write news stories for the Saturday travel section of The Daily Telegraph and travel features for its sister paper, The Sunday Telegraph. Many of the articles can be found on the company's website, www.telegraph.co.uk.

For The Times, I contribute leisure and business travel articles. I also write profiles of successful business people, from celebrity chef Marco Pierre White to famous bookmaker Victor Chandler, for the newspaper's website, www.timesonline.co.uk.

I have also written for The Sun, The Financial Mail on Sunday, The Daily Express and The London Evening Standard.

Television and radio:

I've appeared as a travel expert on BBC1, GMTV, ITV, Sky, The Travel Channel, BBC Radio 5 and various regional radio stations.

Trade websites, journals and periodicals:

I write travel trade stories and a hard-hitting, fortnightly column for the website www.travelmole.com. I've also been a columnist on the travel trade newspaper, Travel Trade Gazette.

I write a monthly column on the UK travel industry for the Australian trade paper, Travel Weekly Australia (www.travelweekly.com.au) and have contributed to the US trade paper, Travel Weekly US (www.travelweekly.com).

I've written profiles on business leaders for Director, the monthly magazine for company directors.
